When using foil instead of wire for inductors, the enlarged surface will make for a much higher rate of electron travel.
The benefits from using foil inductors comes in the form of less distortion and higher dynamic headroom, when used on crossovers for modern high performance speakers.
Cross Coils are available in 8, 12, 14 and 16 AWG.
